Welcome to the Bible Boat!  We sail thru Scripture together every Sunday and Wednesday.  Our format is based on a large group/small group model.  All elementary ages meet together in the Big Room.  This helps the kids to get to know each other and worship corporately together.  We begin our time with a Welcome Circle sharing names and fun facts.  After the Welcome Circle, we have an active time of Worship.  Our worship is a fun and engaging time for all ages.  After our worship time, we study the Word of God together.  Each child uses their own Bible (we have lots to loan), and we go through a section of Scripture verse by verse with them at their own level.  After the Bible Study, we break up into small groups by grade level.  In the small group time, we pray, practice the memory verse, play a game or do art or crafts.  During this time, we break down the Bible study time to their own level, going deeper with the older ones and simplifying for the younger.  We ask questions, make applications, and review ideas together.  There are two helpers in each classroom.  It is our desire that our students enjoy their time learning Scripture, growing in their faith, and knowing that they are loved and valued by us and by God.
